Christmas and New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Moab, we all missed my mom but we did the best we could. The holidays have taught us that rolls and Lemon Meringue pie were mom's specialties that she had perfected, we should have paid better attention. We did have a fun and somewhat crazy time though. Family is wonderful and its great to get together and laugh and play with each other.
Grandpa read The Christmas Train to everyone on Christmas Eve. He was a little disappointed by the ending though, he wanted little Tommy Monson to give away his electric train. Haha.
 New Christmas jammies
Alex loved opening his presents, then he would run around playing with them a we had a hard time getting him to come back and open more
Grandpa did a grab bag for the two grandsons. When Alex pulled out a snake everyone, especially aunt Stacy (I thought she was going to pee her pants) got a good scare. Then Alex had to beg Grandpa to get the rest of the toys out for him cause he wasn't going to stick his hand back in the bag.
New pillow cases filled with way too much loot from our not so mysterious Secret Santa
Thanks so much Secret Santa!! We feel so loved!
This was our second Christmas that we enjoyed when we got back to Cedar. Alex likes my new red shoes

He loved his new fire truck too
Christmas with our little guy was so fun. I'm such a lucky girl because I have two wonderful cuties in my life and I have a new Bosch mixer from my wonderful father, thanks so much! In fact I have two Bosch mixers because I accidentally stole my sisters, oops. She informed me that she is now my former sister, so if there's anyone that wants to claim me as a sister (there's a mixer in it for you) go right ahead.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! We celebrated New Year with Aaron and Lacey by playing games (what else would we do?)

2012 was a rough year, though I didn't really set any new resolutions my goals this year will be focused on improving myself and being happy. Hopefully I can make my home healthy and happy.

  1. I can totally relate with your comment about wishing you had paid better attention when your mom made the pie and rolls. I have so many things I wish I would have paid better attention too!! Hang in there!!

  2. Sounds like you had a good holiday. 2013 is going to be a good year, I decided it. 2012 brought too many changes some wanted some unwanted. I agree with focusing on making yourself and home happy. Miss you!
